Games in class
Charades R Schorr
Type a list of phrases using the present continuous such as: 「おとこのこは公園で歩いています。」「ねこはとりをみています。」「女はうみで泳いでいます。」 Cut these sentences into strips and place them in a bag. Each student takes a strip from the bag and attempts, in turn to act out or draw their sentence. The other students attempt to guess the sentence.
Te form guess who
Divide the class into pairs. Give each pair a game card. One Ss chooses a person from the 'Person Column'. The other Ss then must ask questions using the te form in order to guess who their partner has chosen. Ie. If the Ss choose Miki. Nani o benkyoushiteimasu ka? なにをべんきょうしていますか。 Nihongo o benkyou shiteimasu. にほんごをべんきょうしています。 Nani o tsukatteimasu ka? なにをつかっていますか。Enpitsu o tsukatteimasu. えんぴつをつかっています。 etc. Donated by A. Nitschke
